    quick radiology quiz 6

    30-year-old person with a known congenital cardiovascular disease. 
     
    try to guess what the diagnosis is based on the 3D CT images 1 - 4. 

    clues: this can sometimes be diagnosed clinically by peripheral temperature & pulses. this particular patient had some characteristic abnormalities in the ribs, evident on chest radiograph (not shown here & unfortunately that particular abnormality isn't very evident on CT) 

    the answer is very obvious in images 5 & 6.

    The fourth image shows the classical Suzman's sign. Seen in coarctation of aorta.
